Philips Hue for Apple TV

Hue finally on the big screen – with cats.

It really doesn’t get any more intuitive. Open the app, choose an animal, get a lighting mood. That sounds like something you’d make up – but it’s the complete feature set. No setup wizard. No colour wheel. No “Please name your scene.” Just: tap an animal, get the mood.

Whether it’s family night, a film marathon, or the third coffee at 11 PM – there’s always some animal that fits... as long as it’s a cat. And if not, the feedback form is open to everyone... as long as it’s about cats. 

My kids are now turning the light on and off in rapid succession. The app is too intuitive. I need a child lock, a password, or at least a short cooldown timer. I’m not feeling well.

Nicer than my actual living room. I’m considering renovating the living room so it matches the app.

I love ferrets. There is no ferret. I have clicked through all the animals. No ferret. I am waiting.
